bigger and better

Today, we bought a new family car! Seth had a hard time fitting in my focus as it was and trying to fit a second car seat as well didn't sound like fun so we decided to upgrade. We got a 2008 Saturn Vue. It's newer, nicer, more comfortable and payments are about $40 less a month! bonus!

Our Big Girl

With all the big transitions coming up (getting out of the crib, potty training, quitting the pacifier) we figured we better get started on at least on of them. We put up the toddler bed weeks ago but up until now, Eleanor has refused to sleep in it. We decided last night was the night and prepared ourselves for a fight. She was looking pretty tired. I sang her her bedtime song and put her down in her big girl bed..... no fight. not a peep. She slept all night and then came in to wake us up at 630. I hope it continues to go this well.
