I caved.

So, for a while now,  Eleanor has been telling me she needs a hair cut and when we get it cut, she says "this is a pretty long hair cut"  or "I wanted it like Ben's"  she hates it in her face, hates it brushed and doesn't like wearing clips so finally I caved.  we got it cut.  SHORT.  she was so excited!  and I love it!

outside

the last few weeks have been busy, but uneventful.  working a lot.  our free time has been spent outside when the weather cooperates.  a few trips to grandparents on both sides.  we even made it to the Valley Lounge Pig roast this year!  good to catch up with some family we don't see so often.  Mother's day I had to work but Seth and the kids brought me lunch and got me some flowers and Eleanor painted me a flower pot.  got 1/2 of my garden in before the rain started, hopefully I'll get the rest in some day!  the rest of the summer looks like much of the same.... working lots of extra shifts due to a new computer system and some recent turnover.  we will make the most of the days off!
the pretty fingernails that took longer to figure out how to put on then actually stayed on the fingers, lol
 first tractor ride

didn't take too long to figure this out

My two Woodys

Things are good here.  nothing too exciting but that is ok.  I have been working a lot of extra hours due to getting ready for transitioning to a new computer system at work.  The extra $$ is nice but it will be nice to get back to my regular schedule (looks like mid summer or so)  We have been enjoying the few days we have been able to get outside.  a few more would be nice!

Eleanor is now making it through the night without pull ups!  big step!  only one accident in the last 3 weeks!  yay Eleanor!

Ben operates at full speed all the time!  he loves to play with his cars.  theres about 50 of them and of course him and eleanor always want the same one! lol  many years of this to come, I'm sure! lol  otherwise they do play pretty well together.  you can tell they adore each other.

the temporary day care is working very well,  couldn't be happier really and Marsha is set to come back next week.  that will be nice too!

I tried to get one decent shot of the two in their matching jammies which was quite the challenge!
