christmas in february

with schedules and vacations and such,  we weren't able to get together with my Dad to celebrate Christmas until last weekend.  Finally it worked out for us.  it was good to see him and Joanie and both kids warmed right up to him.  (sometimes it takes Ben a little while with the beard and all and the time that goes by between visits)  but this time both kids enjoyed playing with Poppa mike and sitting on his lap
 

We got out side to make a snowman on a day that was warm enough and Ben watched us from the window.  the 3 of us played in the back in the morning.  the snow was so deep in the back yard the kids were falling in waste deep!  I had to put on my snow shoes to pull them out.

Eleanor has decided that she is growing out her hair... it is starting to get in her eyes now so I put it in pony tails.  then she wanted me to put mine in pony tails and Ben wanted one too.  the only one who didn't join the fun was daddy.
