our little princess

our little princess was at daycarne this weekend because we both worked. saturday she came home with painted toenails. (I can't imagine how hard it was to do! I had a hard enough time getting a decent picture of them!) today Marsha also had a 2 month old baby and I was told Eleanor got very jealous of him.. she's used to being the center of attention.

I am looking forward to a day off tomorrow.... it's been a long week at work. and Seth and I even get a day off together on wednesday! better yet!

6 month appointment and more

we had Eleanor's 6 mo check up today and all is well. she is 27.5 inches and 18.2 lbs. (i thought for sure she'd be over 20) she had 4 shots but did well. she is in the 90th percentile for heighth and the 87th for weight.

It was also Grandma Rusch's birthday today so we enjoyed a wonderful meal at El Loro's. Eleanor was very well behaved (I was a little nervous since she got her shots today) and she fell asleep as soon as we got home. hopefully she makes it through the night!

been a while

so far the new year has been pretty good for us....Eleanor is teething so we have had a few rough nights... and it always seems to happen when we work the next morning. oh well, we've been pretty spoiled by her sleeping so well so far. we just wish the teeth would just break through already so she is not hurting. she has the new talent of sitting up all by herself and it is one of her favorite things to do. she is getting to be such a big girl! next appointment is the 27th. I'll update with all the stats then.

a big thanks to Heidi and Tracy for hanging out with her last night so Seth and I could have a night on the town. We had a very good time (even though we payed for it this morning) we tried out the new seafood place in town and were both impressed with our meals and then we went to the lamplighter and had some drinks. It was just nice to have some us time so thanks again girls!
